Terms & Conditions — SkinArcana

Welcome to SkinArcana (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Website”). These Terms govern your access to and use of https://skinarcana.net and our services, including the sale and delivery of Dota 2 skins and in-game items. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Acceptance

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Website and make purchases. If you use the Website on behalf of an entity, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Services

SkinArcana operates a digital storefront/platform for in-game items (e.g., Dota 2 skins). Items are delivered to your linked Steam account via trade offers using the trade URL you provide. We do not create or modify Valve/Steam content.

3. Accounts & Security

You may need an account to order or access certain features. Provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend/terminate accounts for violations, fraud, or abuse.

4. Orders & Payments

You agree to pay the amounts shown at checkout, including taxes/fees. Payments are processed via approved gateways (e.g., card processors, PayPal). Prices are shown in EUR (€) and may change without notice. We may refuse/cancel orders (e.g., suspected fraud, pricing errors).

5. Delivery

After payment confirmation, items are typically delivered via Steam trade offer to your provided trade URL within minutes to a few hours. You are responsible for:

  • Providing a valid trade URL and ensuring your Steam account is trade-ready (no trade bans, holds, 2FA issues).
  • Monitoring your email/account for delivery notices.
    We are not liable for delays or failures caused by incorrect details, Steam restrictions, or user-side issues.

6. Selling on SkinArcana (If Enabled)

If you list items for sale on SkinArcana, you agree to the following:

6.1 Listing & Review

  • Choose the correct game/category and ensure you have the right to sell the item.
  • Listings may be moderated; we may reject or remove any listing.

6.2 Inventory Handling

  • Items remain in your inventory until sold. Keep them available and trade-ready.
  • On sale, you must fulfill the transfer promptly as instructed.

6.3 Fees

  • A platform commission of 10% applies to the final sale price unless otherwise stated on the listing page.

6.4 Payouts

  • Minimum payout €10; maximum per request €5,000.
  • Payouts are initiated after buyer payment clears and the item is successfully delivered.
  • You must provide valid payout details in My Account → Payout Details.
  • Compliance: We may conduct AML/KYC checks and hold/deny payouts where risk is detected or information is insufficient.

6.5 Compliance & Risk

  • We may withhold, delay, or cancel payouts for suspected fraud, policy violations, regulatory issues, or data discrepancies.
  • All payouts are subject to monitoring and logs as required by law.
  • Payout requests are only processed for amounts between €10 and €5,000. Requests below €10 or above €5,000 will be declined.


7. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

  • You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Contact support with your order details.
  • Refunds/exchanges are considered if an item/code is invalid or fails to work as intended and you notify us within 48 hours of receipt.
  • We may request evidence (e.g., screenshots, logs).
  • Orders may be cancelled before payment is captured by contacting support.
  • We comply with applicable UK consumer protections for digital goods where relevant.

8. User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for illegal/unauthorized purposes.
  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Interfere with security or operations of the Website.
  • Use bots/scrapers without permission.
  • Engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, or unauthorized resale/distribution of activation codes/items.

9. Intellectual Property

Site content (text, graphics, code, UI) is owned by SkinArcana or its licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
Dota 2 and related IP belong to Valve Corporation; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

See our Privacy Policy for how we process personal data. By using the Website, you consent to processing as described there. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

11. Disclaimers & Liability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkinArcana is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for issues caused by third-party platforms (e.g., Steam holds, bans, outages) that affect delivery or use of items.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SkinArcana and its officers/employees against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Website, or breach of laws.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations or risk. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases immediately.

14. Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for third-party sites/services linked from the Website. Use them at your own risk and review their terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Changes take effect when posted with an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before legal action, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting us.
